We both are running 3RZ Engines, mine is Supercharged. Bevin has an Ultimate Marlin Crawler, and I have a Triple Marlin Crawler. In this video I am in 2nd gear at 277:1 and Bevin is in 1st gear at 223:1. The audio sounds bad, that high pitch noise is my motor fan, not my speed controller. At 649:1 the speed controller rarely squeals! My real 1981 Toyota Truck has Triple Marlin Crawler cases and is 510:1, so I want to change my gear ratios in the Mountaineer to reflect this. This video shows my maximum Crawl Ratio of 649:1. Now all I need to do is alter the pinion and spur ratios to achieve 510:1! Video duration: 51 seconds Here my Mountaineer climbs up the steep ledge on the top left side of Hollywood Hill, on Bald Mountain Trail, Shaver Lake, CA. The water is from snow melt above the rock. It is much steeper than it looks!
